About Urban DFW Elite

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged student-athletes in Dallas, Texas. Our focus is on holistic development, combining rigorous academic structure with elite athletic training to help young individuals achieve their dreams of going professional.

Our inspiring legacy

Urban DFW Elite began as a grassroots movement in 2005, founded by the visionary Coach Jazzy Hartwell. Today, his legacy is proudly upheld by his daughter, Jade Colbert, who leads as the industry's only female CEO. Under her guidance, we continue to transform lives and shape the future of aspiring athletes.

A journey of triumph: Darrell Arthur's story

We are incredibly proud of athletes like Darrell Arthur, who embodies the spirit of Urban DFW Elite. In 2010, while playing for the University of Kansas Jayhawks, Darrell won the NCAA Champion MVP. His talent led him to a successful professional career with the Memphis Grizzlies, Denver Nuggets, and Phoenix Suns, showcasing the heights our athletes can reach with dedication and support.

Our vision for the future

Our ultimate goal is to instill a deep sense of philanthropy and community in our athletes. We aspire for them to not only achieve professional success but also to remember the program that helped them get there, inspiring them to give back and uplift future generations. We believe in creating a cycle of success and support.

"Urban DFW Elite not only trains athletes but also builds character and fosters a sense of community. Their dedication is truly inspiring."
